The Hakone Museum of Art is a historic museum founded in 1952. A large number of valuable pottery pieces are on display, including Jomon and Yayoi period earthenware, Tokoname ware, Tamba ware, Shigaraki ware, and Bizen ware. Outside, the garden is covered in moss and greenery carefully tended by artisans, making it a wonderful place to visit if you’re in Hakone.
