This pottery was made at Suetoku kiln in Namie Town, Futaba District, Fukushima. This pottery is (double-fired) made by stacking two pieces.

He learned ceramics at a pottery school in Seto, Aichi.
After his training, he joined Suetoku Kiln at 25. He continued the Ohori Soma ware tradition.
Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, he relocated to Koriyama.
