Z023 SADO

SADO HOKURIKU MUMYOYI YAKI

This pottery was made by Gyokudou Kiln in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture.
The clay is made from minerals containing iron oxide mined in the Sado Gold and Silver Mine, and fired at high temperatures to create a piece with a texture that combines red and black patterns.
